Mrs Miglena Cristina Gemanar earned her MA in Applied Linguistics from University Brunei Darussalam, Post Grad Dip in Education in English Language and Phonology from Curtin University Australia and BSc in Foreign Policy Banking from Romanian-American University, Bucharest, Romania. She is certified in Phonics International and Jolly Phonics.

Although I spent the last 18 years teaching in both local and international schools I believe I have still a lot more to learn. I believe all children can achieve their true potential when we, educators, understand their most immediate needs and act knowledgeably and become part of their world. The most rewarding aspect of my job is that I learn most from the children I work with”.
She enjoys swimming and spending time in nature and is a certified Yoga Instructor
Mr Muhammad Haziq Siddeq bin Asmad has been trained in-house by Engage Minds Learning after his A Levels in 2015.

Ms Dk Hawa Hayati Pg Abd Wahab earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with Minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies from New York University, USA. She has 1 year of experience as a research assistant in a lab at NYU that investigates early cognitive markers of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Teacher Hayati is a therapist in the PECS Programme
As a special needs teacher, I am privileged to work with such bright children and to discover their talents day by day. I believe that by teaching children functional communication, we are equipping them skills that transcend the classroom and are fundamental in enabling them to become independent and productive members of society."

Ms Hazirah Japin earned her M.Sc Clinical and Health Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Clinical and Health Psychology from Bangor University, United Kingdom.
She is currently working as an Early Childhood Facilitator working towards her accreditation as Psychologist with Allied Health Professions, of Brunei Darussalam.
She enjoys working with children , cycling , sewing and cooking.
Mr Mohd Asri Mohd Shah earned his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia & his Diploma in Occupational Therapy from Ministry of Health, Malaysia. He has experience in working with acute, sub acute care and outpatient occupational therapy, an extensive knowledge in orthopedics, rheumatology, burn, mental, pediatric & neurological disorders. He was an occupational therapist in Department of Occupational Therapy at WQ Park Health & Rehab Centre, Malaysia and in Department of Rehab, Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC), Brunei before Engage Minds Learning.
He is our Occupational Therapist.

Mr Shaikh Umar Shaikh Hassan Johar is certified in Certificate CACHE Diploma in Early Childhood Education from International School Brunei. He also has 4 years of experience working in ISB as a Kindy Learning Assistant.
He joined our team ad Early Childhood Facilitators in March, 2019.

Mrs Shameem Fathima has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science, Bachelor of Education in Special Education, Certification in Inclusive Education (UPK) and is trained in PECS. She has 11 years experience in Mainstream and Special Education Teaching, and has attended workshops in Speech Generating Device and Language of Emotions
Mrs Shameem works as an ABA therapist in the Special Needs Department.

She enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, community services (for children), cooking, reading and traveling
Mr Kevin P'ng Thien Hock earned his Bachelor of Science Psychology with Honors from the University of Warwick, UK. He is a member of more than 10 project teams, and is an active member and qualified First-Aider of the St John's Ambulance Organization, UK. He also has experience in community service volunteer to children and physical and mentally disabled adults in the UK

Ms Nadzirah Binti Sidup earned both of her MA in Southeast Asian Studies and Bachelors of Arts in Historical Studies from University Brunei Darussalam. She has been the president of UBD Volunteering & Charity Club, an intern in Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport under the Youth Department, liaison officer for both Thailand and Vietnam Delegates and also participated in the Student Exchange Programme at Universitas Indonesia
She works in the Extended Programme as an Assistant Teacher.

Mrs Reshmi Lourds Mathew has qualifications in MSc in Psychology and Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology.
She is also a Certified Speech Language Pathologist with 9 years of extensive work experiences in hospitals, rehabilitation, institutes, and clinics.
She is known for her skills in conducting speech language evaluation and treatment, and knowledge in preschool training.
Ms Hjh Nur'Aqilah bte Abdullah @ Hj Osman earned both her Master of Teaching (ECEC) and Bachelor of Art in Historical Studies at University of Brunei Darussalam. She has gained experience as a special needs teacher assistant from Rising Star Child Development and as a preschool teacher during a school placement at Dato' Othman Primary School and Rimba Primary School

Mrs Naila Raza earned her Masters Degree in Educational Planning and Management, and her Bachelor of Education in Teacher Training at NUML, Islamabad, Pakistan. She has 4 years teaching experience at both Primary and Pre-School Level (Special Needs Children)
